4 OF THE MOST SHOCKING K-BEAUTY MYTHS

While K-Beauty has received a ton of accolades in the past few years from American beauty editors and skincare fanatics alike, it does still garner a good amount of “myth versus fact” conversation. Today we wanted to debunk the four most shocking K-Beauty myths that we’ve seen…

1-) Not all K-Beauty brands are part of the clean beauty movement.

Aloisia Beauty believes that skincare is not just about what you put on the surface of your skin. Skincare is an essential component to overall self-care, which is why we formulate our products with clean, carefully-researched, non-toxic ingredients that are healthy for the whole body – inside and out.

While there is no current national standard for “clean” products, our own commitment to clean skincare begins with being 100% transparent about the ingredients we use. We do not formulate our products with artificial or synthetic ingredients, ingredients that have shown to include toxins linked to harmful or negative health effects, and ingredients that can put pregnant or nursing women at risk. We only use ingredients that are scientifically-proven to address skin concerns, while helping you look and feel your best. You can see our full list of ingredients that Aloisia Beauty banned HERE.

2-) You can only be one skin type to use K-Beauty products.

K-Beauty products are formulated for a wide range of skin types; whether you have oily skin, dry, skin, combination skin, etc., you can absolutely find a myriad of K-Beauty products suited to t your skin and your needs!

3-) You only need to double cleanse at night.

If you know anything about K-Beauty then you know it’s wonderful, but also elaborate! In a typical K-Beauty skincare regimen, you would double cleanse both morning and night.

4-) K-Beauty products only work on Asian skin.

Perhaps the most ridiculous myth of them all, we can assure you that K-Beauty products work on every race, nationality and skin type.
