5 Must-Have Clean Beauty Products for Summer

Summer is officially here and today we’re talking about five clean beauty products that you absolutely need to get through the warmer months.

  1. Sunscreen!

We have to start with your number one skincare must-have always, even in the winter: sunscreen.  Look for an SPF that touts “broad spectrum” and, ideally, “water resistant” to ensure that it stays in place for the full two to three hours, and that you get maximum protection.

  2. A cooling face mist.

Our new Deep Hydration Aloe Gel Mist delivers a soothing and re-balancing blend of aloe vera leaf extract, hydrolyzed collagen, centella asiatica extract and other natural botanicals.  They all work together to deeply hydrate the skin, reduce redness, soothe and replenish (and it’s especially good after sun exposure!).  We love storing this new mist in the fridge for a cooling effect.

  3. A bright lipstick.

Since #workfromhome is still happening for a lot of people in the U.S., we love the idea of trying a new, bright shade of lipstick to really make your Zoom calls extra fun.

  4. Sea water-based sheet masks.

It is the summer after all.  Here at Aloisia we always recommend using a sheet mask, but our Aqua Ultra Moisturizing Mask is perfect for summer (and anyone who can’t get to the ocean!) since it’s enriched with a conditioning blend of sea water!  These sheet masks soothe the skin, deliver moisture at the deepest level, and really work to promote your plumpest, most glowing skin ever.

  5. A hair mask treatment.

Since the sun typically dries out hair (especially if you color your hair!), summer is a great time to do a weekly hair mask treatment, really locking in moisture and preventing split ends.
